It’s About You is a partnership programme between Careerfinder and PRIME. It is a new project running across Dorset, Devon and Cornwall to help people who have reached a crossroads in their work life.

This programme offers workshops on life and career planning to older people wishing to explore different employment options. A one day career development workshop uses a Career Mapper tool, followed by a feedback session where participants review the outcomes and prepare personal development plans.

It’s About You will give people the chance to assess their skills and review those they may need to change career, move forward in their current role or simply establish confidence. It can help people understand how they can move forward and find the right course or direction for them.

The workshops are delivered locally and provide a skills workshop in the morning followed by a psychometric diagnostic in the afternoon which will produce an expert report on your core abilities, interests and specific personality traits thus helping establish the skills and abilities you have which may be greater than those you assume you possess.

This is a free workshop. Lunch will be provided and travel costs paid up to £5.
